Origin : Variety originating from the Côtes-d'Armor, mainly planted in its department of origin but also in Normandy
Picking date : Harvest time: first half of October
Uses : Bitter variety with early maturity. Hardy but very vigorous variety: to be planted in poor soil. In fertile soil, preferably grown on weak rootstock.
Cider: bitter and astringent (profile similar to Kermerrien and Kéramère COV).

Blossom date : end of April to beginning of May. Characteristics: triploid variety
Pollinator : Kermerrien, Douce Coëtligné, Petit Jaune, Fréquin Rouge, Rouget de Dol, Guillevic
Vigour : strong to very strong
Time till first cropping / yields : 20-30 tons/ha
Susceptibility to alternate bearing / thinning : Reaction to chemical thinning: strong (due to its triploidy)
Susceptibility / resistance to diseases : Scab: low - Powdery mildew: low - Canker: low - Fire blight: not very susceptible on flowers and fairly susceptible on shoots.
