The new rootstock Geneva® G11 C.O.V. won the “Sival d’or” at the competition SIVAL Innovation, this last Tuesday.

This year had a record number of 62 entries in 5 classes.

The rootstock Geneva® G11 C.O.V., breeded in 1963, is only launched commercialy! Therefore it is exceptionnal to be able to propose a new rootstock in a competition.

This rootstock is resistant to phytophtora, tolerant to frost, and as an excellent behaviour un replanted orchard, which is becoming a major issue for the European fruit growers.
